A Meowy Christmas by Kelly @ CatClaws 'Twas the week before Christmas when all thro' the house, not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse. The stockings were hung by the chimney with care, Out on the lawn, I heard such a clatter, When what to my wondering eyes should appear, And then, in a twinkling, I heard on the roof . . . nothing. As I drew in my head and was turning around, He was dressed all in fur, from his ears to his foot, He spoke not a word, but went (rather lazily) to his work, because he heard a bell that had chimed, But I heard him meow, as I set the tree back upright, Meowy Christmas to all, and to all a good night!
We hope our tounge-in-cheek version of 'Twas the Night Before Christmas has given you a laugh, and from all of us at Cat Claws, we hope your holidays are filled with love and laughter. (And cats.) |
